Crème brulee has to be, hands down, one of my all time favourite desserts.  It always seems so exotic with it’s crunchy, caramelized crust and smooth and creamy custard bottom.  I had always assumed it was complicated to make and I certainly knew it was expensive to purchase, either as a dessert at a restaurant
