Almost unbelievably, there are a few peaches still lingering at the local farmer’s market.  Not quite so unbelievably, my family consumed them at an almost alarming rate, leaving only three lonely peaches.  Now, three peaches divided amongst six people amounts to nothing more than a tease, unless those peaches happen to be sitting atop some
