Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes
You can easily use any type of potato you typically use for mashed potatoes. I like good ‘ole regular russets but the time I made them for this picture I used Yukon Gold potatoes. Use what you have, there isn’t much difference. Also, you can cut the potatoes ahead of time, if needed, and place the cut potatoes in a large bowl and covered with water in the refrigerator.
