June is one of my favorite months.  Not only is it my birthday month but, it is also when many local fruits and vegetables begin to appear at farmers’ markets and grocery stores.  Area farmers’ first harvests include tender asparagus, rich burgundy colored beets, bright green peas, baby spinach, juicy sweet blueberries, and red ripe
