If REALLY pressed to name a favourite vegetable, I think I'd choose broccoli. It is a really versatile vegetable, at home in a variety of cuisines from Italian to Asian. This recipe is sort of Calabrian. It is based on a recipe that was told to me by my Italian hairdresser more than ten years ago.
