The truth is that I had to look up the word "strata" before naming this dish.  I mean.... I was pretty sure that eggs and bread together with some sort of cheese made it a 'strata'. But then I started second guessing myself and thought, "No.... maybe this is some sort of savory 'Bread Pudding'?
