I recently found out that my mother-in-law has 20 cups of pumpkin puree stashed away in her freezer.  My own mother has at least a dozen cans of pumpkin puree in her "Y2K food stash" in the basement.  Do they know something we don't know?!?!  Is there going to be a pumpkin shortage?!?!  Probably not.
