I was craving something sweet today. But I was lacking inspiration. I didn't feel like eating cake, or baking cookies, or sifting through my old recipes.  I wanted something kinda chewy. And this time of year, caramel is on my mind. The cooler weather, thoughts of Halloween and pumpkins...it's like caramel is running through my veins.
