Oatmeal cookies are so perfectly delightful. I feel like they kind of get a bad rap by association with rasin cookies. Oatmeal raisin cookies are good, but since most people pick up a raisin cookie assuming those dark dots are chocolate chips, they bite in expecting an amazing, mind blowing cookie and they get...raisins....and oatmeal.
