I used half of my red and white cabbages to make a Quick Winter Cabbage Pickle and used the other half to make a winter slaw for my Boxing Day Buffet. I added cranberries and macadamia nuts to add a different texture to the slaw and of course, for a festive touch.   Winter Slaw
