Here is a great collection of basic ice cream recipes. Since I bought a Cuisinart Frozen Yogurt, Ice Cream and Sorbet Maker (in my favorite kitchen color - red) I have not stopped making homemade ice cream. The flavor is a world apart from any store-bought ice cream I have ever tasted. As I test other ice cream recipes, I will add them to this collection. The really bright side to making your own ice cream is that it is not filled with chemicals such as the ice cream you buy in the grocery stores. Honestly, these recipes are SO easy. I don't even bother with custard-based ice cream recipes any longer. They require cooking and are sometimes very tricky.
