One of the worst features of canned cream soups (or most canned soups, for that matter) is the amount of sodium. With this Cream of Anything Soup recipe, you can control the amount of salt or leave it out completely if need be. One of the best features of canned cream soups is convenience. But with very little effort you can make your own canned soup. I am not a milk drinker, so I rarely have fresh milk on hand. I use powdered milk to make this soup, and it turns out well. You can use this soup to replace canned soup in any recipe calling for cream of "anything" soup.
