When I was a child, the entire extended family would gather at my Grandmother's for Christmas dinner.  Our family was large and the rooms would be packed.  Cousins, aunts, and uncles spilled over from the dining room into the living room, kitchen, and -depending on the weather-the front and back porch.  Before the celebrations could
