This is an interesting desert substitute for hot chocolate. The mesquite flour has a flavor of its own and built-in sweetness, so it basically replaces the cocoa mix. This is one case where you use it straight up. Give this one a shot and see what you think. One of our tasters suggested the addition of some rum to create a warm cocktail, but we haven’t tried that … yet!
