Being an avid lover of pizza, I've had a number of cheeseburger pizzas and, while tasty, they always just tasted like a pizza with some burger flavors on it.  One of the biggest mistakes I think pizza makers do with their version is using pizza sauce topped with ground beef and a bit of cheddar.
