I love rubs.  They are so simple to put together and the flavor they add to meats are Out.Of.This.World.  Usually you think of rubs as something that goes on grilled meat, but in this case, this darned good roast chicken is baked.  Sometimes I use rubs on meat I put in the slow cooker, too.
