I saw a recipe in Saveur magazine years ago for ropa vieja.  It sounded delicious, but I didn't want to spend a lot of time cooking over the stove.  Any recipe calling for braising (typically done in a dutch oven) you can usually make just as well in a slow cooker. This one is no different. I used my
