We went over a friend's house for dinner the other night. Kind of a kid's playdate/parent's party thing. Now, our friend Maria, is a fabulous cook. And while she had dinner well covered (grilled flank steak with roasted potatoes and a beautiful beet salad), she asked me if I wouldn't mind bringing an app. Of
