Being half Cypriot I have been born and raised with tahini and always loved the taste. But only recently I discovered its amazing nutritional properties. Believe it or not tahini is rich in calcium, magnesium, iron, phosphorus, vitamin B1, zinc, molybdenum, selenium, and dietary fiber (to name a few). Both calcium and iron are very important if you living on a plant based diet. So when I found this tahini dessert recipe from for Tales of a kitchen I had to try it.
