Bourbon Glazed Carrots
If you haven’t tried sautéing carrots in coconut oil you are missing out on a delicious way to prepare them. Coconut oil is an interesting product, solid when cool and liquid when warmed, sort of like shortening but so much healthier. It seems like every day there is a new study about it’s health benefits. (I mix a little bit with my protein drink prior to working out) It has a slightly sweet coconut flavor to it which works perfectly with carrots.
