I love onions--unlike the rest of my family--and there's nothing quite like fresh onions from the farmers' market! When choosing onions (red, yellow or white), they should be firm with shiny, tissue-thin skins. Onions will keep for 3-4 weeks if you store them in a cool, dark place. Once you've cut an onion, you should store
