Raw, Vegan Oatmilk Eggnog
This is a super thick and creamy vegan take on classic eggnog. Unlike its store bought counterpart it isn’t cloyingly sweet and full of weird gums and thickeners. It is classically spiced, and laced saffron for a yolky hue. If don’t have saffron at hand, you can substitute a small pinch of turmeric. Even if you don't usually like eggnog, I encourage you to try this. It mimics the richness of the original, but lacks the illness-inducing heaviness and overwhelming sweetness. You will need a really good blender for this recipe.
