Boston Cream Pie is  usually a vanilla sponge cake with custard in the middle and chocolate ganache on top. These light buttermilk cakes are mini versions filled with Creme Patissiere (Bakers cream) and topped with chocolate ganache. Makes around 12 muffins, depending on size. They're better if you can wait for the ganache to cool
