To make Beet Dye, simply cut up 1 red beet, cover with water, and cook on medium heat until only a few tablespoons of liquid remain. That liquid is the dye. ***Note: Do not over beat the marshmallows. The gelatin will begin to set very quickly, and you want the mixture smooth enough that you can pour it into the prepared pan and smooth it out before it sets.
