This recipe is slightly adapted from Naturally, Delicious by Danny Seo (2016, Pam Krauss Books | Avery). It originally calls for 1½ cups of sugar, which is a bit much for me so I scaled back to 1 cup. I also opted for dark chocolate chunks instead of chocolate chips. For the chickpeas, I recommend Eden Organic brand.
